Malheur Works Internship Program


The application for Malheur Works Summer 2022 internships will open January 31st 2022.

The Malheur Works Program provides local, graduating high school students, Class of 2022, with professional, paid internships in Malheur County.

These are competitive opportunities, so putting your best foot forward is important.

Do you need help polishing your resume or preparing your letter of interest?

Applications must be submitted by March 30, 2022

A single application allows you to apply for multiple positions. A complete application packet includes:

  1. Complete online application form

  2. Resume with references Save format: Last Name_First Name_Resume (ex: Doe_Jane_Resume.pdf)

  3. Letter of Interest Save format: Last Name_First Name_Letter (ex: Doe_Jane_Letter.pdf)

The Malheur Works Internship Program provides interns the opportunity to complete project-based internships and other work experiences. In addition, interns are able to network with other companies and learn professional skills from community leaders.

Internships run June 6th through August 12th 2022

The Malheur Works Internship Program:

  • All positions are full-time and paid at or above minimum wage

  • The program begins mid-June and ends mid-August

        • (Host sites may be flexible on dates of hire)

  • Build application, resume, and interview skills

  • Develop work ethic and professionalism

  • Strengthen workforce-ready skills
